More skating

Here's some of what's happening:

  • Palm Sunday!
  • We went to a grad potluck last night.  True story--there was meat (department provided), coleslaw and cookies and then the rest of us all brought drinks.  Oops.  It was OK.
  • History fair was Friday.  It was fine, but best of all, it's over now.  I did C's hair up in a bun and pinned and sprayed it and it stayed put through two hours of performance as Mrs. Lincoln.  C was really bummed out to discover that by the time her class was done putting on numerous performances of the high points of the Civil War, almost all the other classes were done exhibiting, but I think next year will be much less taxing.  I didn't see much beside D's class's ancient Egypt exhibit, but they were very impressive.  Both 2nd grade teachers were dressed up in ancient Egyptian costume and I got to talk to a small Howard Carter about the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb.
  • My husband and the big kids went rollerskating between lunch and dinner.
  • Baby T is starting to be able to fling toys.
